Quick Articles

Quick Articles uses the ExLibris Metalib X-Server to find and display articles with links to get the full-text or resource via the SFX or 360Link service. The articles that are retrieved are the same that you can search and find using the Metalib User Interface and selecting the General Quickset to search.

If you are not accessing Quick Articles from a recognized IP address, you will be prompted to log in, and once authenticated assigned an institutional IP address that should give you access to full-text articles.

* these institutions do not have general quick sets set up in MetaLib at this time. Please ask your Electronic Resources Librarian if you would like this set up.

There is also an auto-pick option. With this option Mango will select sources from the categorized databases based on the Subject facets of the search result. This assumes you did an initial search on the Books tab and then carried it over to the Quick Articles. If there are no matches it will pick the databases in the General category. There is a configurable limit to how many databases it will try to search (currently set at 7).
